HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE PLAN (HRP) 2019In 2019 humanitarian partners adopted a high-impact strategy to help civilians in Yemen survive violence, secure food and receive the nutrition, health, WASH, shelter, education and protection support they are entitled to under international humanitarian and human rights law in accordance with the cardinal humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and operational independence, more than 242 partners across the country.
191 humanitarian organisations were active in Yemen from January to September 2019 to help people with their most acute needs in priority districts across Yemen’s 22 governorates. From January to September 2019, humanitarian organisations assisted on average 11.5 million people per month.
