  3. Ensure sufficient coordination and capacity at the national and sub-national levels

Health

Cluster Objectives

  1. Provide integrated primary, secondary and referral health services, surveillance and response, and medical supplies in priority districts
  2. Strengthen reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) interventions, including violence against women
  3. Support community-based health initiatives and sustain the main pillars and infrastructure of the health system
  4. Strengthen health sector coordination and health information systems

Nutrition

Cluster Objectives

  1. Deliver quality, life-saving interventions for acute malnourished girls and boys and pregnant or lactating women

  2. Contribute to prevention of malnutrition by enhancing BSFP, micronutrient support, de-worming and IYCF

  3. Strengthen capacity of relevant authorities and local partners to ensure effective, decentralized nutrition response

  4. Ensure a predictable, timely and effective nutrition response through needs analysis, monitoring and coordination

Shelter, Non-Food items and Camp Coordination and Camp Management

Cluster Objectives

  1. Provide life-saving and life-sustaining shelter solutions and non-food items to the most vulnerable in liveable and dignified settings
  2. Ensure access to basic services for the most vulnerable women and men living in collective centres and spontaneous settlements
  3. Strengthen accountability to affected people by seeking feedback and addressing concerns
  4. Strengthen capacity of authorities, communities and partners in for Shelter, NFI & CCCM programmes

Protection

Cluster Objectives

  1. Assess and analyse key protection issues (including displacement, human rights, IHL, GBV and child protection), and advocate and mobilize a timely response
  2. Provide life-saving protection assistance and services to vulnerable, conflict-affected individuals, including children and GBV survivors
  3. Strengthen capacity of partners, service providers, authorities and communities to assess, prevent, mitigate and respond to protection needs and risks
  4. Strengthen coordination of protection, GBV and child protection activities at the national and sub-national levels

Education

Cluster Objectives

  1. Provide equitable access to child-friendly learning spaces for crisis-affected girls and boys
  2. Improve crisis-affected girls’ and boys’ coping mechanisms via psychosocial support and life skills

  1. Support and enhance coordinated, effective and efficient logistics services
  2. Facilitate access to common services (cargo and passengers transport, storage, fuel) to support humanitarian organizations

ETC Objectives

  1. Support effective response through timely and reliable ETC services and information sharing
  2. Coordinate security telecommunications and IT emergency response activities
  3. Provide reliable Internet for the humanitarian community in common operational areas

Coordination and Safety
